According to the reports presented at the 2012 NFPA Economic Outlook Conference, the market for agricultural equipment rebounded nicely from the last recession and remained strong throughout 2012. Sales in North America of tractors showed improvement in nearly every month of 2012. Combines also had a successful year.
More importantly, Agricultural machinery is critical to our society as food production is greatly aided by advanced machinery technology. Consider how food is planted, nurtured, and harvested by today's equipment and how the production of food sources benefits from the the advances.
In the February issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, we will feature agricultural equipment and fluid power. We will highlight innovative design techniques that give hydraulics the power, precision, and reliability to operate agricultural machinery safely, efficiently, reliability, and with the highest productivity.
Hydraulics & Pneumatics magazine subscriptions will be available to attendees at this year's AG CONNECT Expo being held in Kansas City later this month. For more information about the event, please click here to visit their website.
