This is just a brief update on the condition of the fluid power industry as I see it. Back in August 2009, the forecast for a bottom of our market was presented at the Economic Outlook Conference presented by the NFPA.
This looks to be holding up. Many of the companies that I have corresponded with recently have told me that business has picked up slightly starting at the end of 2009 Q4. This seems to be the trend.
The other trend that was forecast at the conference was slow but steady increases in our business for 2010. This too seems to be confirmed by my conversations with fluid power companies.
