As usual, H&P's editor Alan Hitchcox and publisher Michael Ference attended the National Fluid Power Association's annual Economic Outlook Conference earlier this week. The consensus seemed to be that despite the gloom and doom of the national media, we are in decent shape. Economists don't expect a double-dip recession, nor do they see the fluid power industry and the many markets it serves as faltering anytime soon. It sounds like there should be continued growth, with things leveling off in a few years.
