An excellent example of an application story that was submitted to us appears in our November issue and it is titled Selecting the right hose can quiet things down. In this article, the author discusses thinks like volumetric expansion of hose as well as using the right hose to reduce vibration and noise.
He is careful to point out the negative effects of excessive noise and vibration and how they cause excess wear on a machine. He goes on to suggest products that will overcome such design problems. Then some specific examples of usage of hose are explained.
