With 11 trade fairs all in one location — including the fluid power fair, Motion, Drive and Automation — Hannover Fair focuses on “Integrated Industry.”
Hannover Fair, which runs April 8-12, will feature 11 trade fairs this year under the “Integrated Industry” banner, as it focuses on the growing integration of machines, industrial equipment, work pieces, and system components.
This year’s fairs include Motion Drive & Automation (MDA),which is home to hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission and control companies. The key product categories include pumps, motors, transmissions, drive system components, clutches and braking systems, roller bearings, and gears.
The MDA Forum offers presentations dedicated to the latest developments, world-wide trends and other issues of interest to the industry. It also serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and networking with visitors from across the globe. Topics to be addressed include:
• Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes
• Solutions for High-speed Applications
• Automation Technology
• Condition Monitoring Systems
• Total cost of Ownership
• Life Cycle Cost
• Return on Investment
Several of the other trade fairs will appeal to users of fluid power systems and components. Industrial Automation showcases solutions for process, factory and building automation systems. ComVac presents energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in compressed air and vacuum technology, ranging from the generation and treatment of compressed air to its distribution and use in machines and systems.
Efficient and green
The Energy Show documents the complete value-adding chain in the energy industry — from generation, supply, transmission and distribution to the transformation and storage of electricity.
On a related note, the WindFair presents the complete spectrum of plant, components and services for industrial applications.
MobiliTec is the fair for hybrid and electric powertrain technologies, mobile energy storage and alternative mobility solutions.
The IndustrialGreenTec fair is being expanded. Themes such as sustainable production, techniques for safeguarding air and water quality and the recycling industry, and other green technologies will form the core of this exhibition.
The final four
The final fairs include Digital Factory, for integrated processes and IT solutions. Here the focus is on process integration and interdisciplinary product development.
Industrial Supply, the fair for industrial subcontracting and lightweight construction, presents products and solutions for every stage of the industrial supply chain.
The SurfaceTechnology fair is the platform for the applications- and solutions-oriented presentation of innovative products and technologies. From pre-treatment to painting and electroplating technology — the show covers all the different processing stages that go into the making of coatings or the treatment and finishing of surfaces.
Finally, the fair for Research, Development and Technology Transfer presents research findings and cutting-edge industrial innovations, with an emphasis on technology transfer between the scientific community and the business world.
