Hydraulic manifold manufacturer Daman Products Co. has launched a completely redesigned website.

Daman Products Co. has launched a completely revamped website, featuring a graphical interface and easier navigation. Users can view the standard product catalog online or download a PDF, but a new interactive tool allows users to find a standard or custom product through its online "CADalog." Users can either enter a part number or build a product by selecting product types, then going in deeper to select materials, patterns, product specifications and see CAD drawings.

In support of the growing trend towards using hydraulic fan drive systems, Comatrol, a member of the Sauer‐Danfoss Group, released two new product lines at Bauma China — RFDE reversing fan drive HICs and directional control valves. Comatrol said the new product lines are a continuation of its focus on high flow directional controls in 2012, and its continued investments in fan drive solutions for efficiently controlling the speed and reversing functions of hydraulic fan systems.

Electrohydraulic cartridge valve manifolds and controls provide stable transfer for railroad car movers.

Railroad cars carry huge loads, typically 250,000 lb. That capacity makes them very economical for long-distance freight transfer. But until the 1950s, moving rail cars very short distances — such as from one track or train to another — was costly and time consuming. The procedure required a conventional switching locomotive, an engineer to operate it, and a switchman to assist. Trackmobile takes advantage of electrohydraulic cartridge valve manifolds and controls to provide stable transfer for railroad car movers.
