Ultra Clean Technologies and Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) are offering a short seminar, Introduction to Hydraulics for Industry Professionals (MSOE-01) for those who are interested in understanding fluid-power technology. The course will take place March 28 through April 1, 2016 at Ultra Clean’s headquarters in Bridgeton, NJ.
Laboratory sessions make up a large portion of the 27-hour seminar to provide practical, working knowledge of fluid-power components and their uses in complex systems. By the end of the class, participants should expect to be able to adequately assemble, inspect, and disassemble complex circuits.
The course caters to individuals with limited exposure to fluid power—including engineers, technical-sales personnel, technicians, and management personnel that require knowledge of technical details to further their careers. Main course topics include identification of distinguishing features in hydraulic systems, recognition of hydraulic components by symbols, reading schematics based on ISO standards, analysis of hydraulic circuits in schematic drawings, and basic configuration and operation of hydrostatic transmissions.
Students will also earn 2.7 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for attending. Space is limited to 16 seats.
